Here you can talk about the nuts and bolts of installations. Talk about how nice your inverter is, how you wish you had more cake for the installers or how you wonder why the panels were placed upside down on your house and no-one elses.

Hi Everyone, this is a great place to ask questions about the Sydney Energy Cooperative deal for the program "Newcastle's Going Solar". Those who did not make the meeting can ask others questions, as those who did attend will no doubt have many of your answers. We will also be active on this forum so we can answer your questions and many others at the same time. Participants can also talk to each other about solar power and saving energy in the home in general and hopefully will continue to communicate here after their systems are installed. Happy Chatting!! The recent global financial crisis saw a record slide in the value of the Aussie dollar. This has resulted in this project using BP Solar panels, made in Sydney, instead of the imported option, leading to a price rise of $25 per panel or $150 per kW.
