Thank you for your interest in solar power. To order a solar system for your home and apply for the $8000 rebate, please download the 'solar package' (click here) and print the material. The package comes with instructions or you can read on (all downloads from here on are included in the solar package file above).

Rebate Application:

1 - Make a photocopy of your most recent rates notice, both sides of a drivers license and both sides of an electricity bill

2 - Print photos of your house, your roof and your meter box (with the lid open).

3 - Complete page 2 and sign page 6 of the "Residential Application for Preapproval Form". To download this form, click here.

4 - Print and fill in, to the best of your ability, the form 'Solar System Order Form'. This form is available by clicking here.

5 - Write out a cheque or money order to "Sydney Energy Cooperative" to the amount of $200. This is a deposit for your solar system.

6 - If you are from the ACT please fill in this form, if you are in the Country Energy area please fill in this one.

7 - Post all items to:

When we receive it, we will complete the application for your rebate and forward it to the government. Your rebate will be approved in the next 6-8 weeks in most cases. Once approved, we will contact you to schedule installation.
